Tablerock Festival Of Salado Began In 1979 By A Handful Of Public-spirited People From Salado, Belton, Temple, And Vicinity. Their Aim Was To Promote The Arts In Central Texas. But More Than That Was The Desire To Recognize And Give Exposure To The Many Talented Professional And Semiprofessional Artists, Actors, And Musicians Who Live And Work Here. It Is With This Goal In Mind That Tablerock Festival Of Salado Designs Its Seasonal Programs. Today, Tablerock Amphitheater Continues To Serve As A Salado Meeting Place
