Swords

Medieval weapons were in use since ancient period and enhanced during the course of time for food and family but with the beginning of Middle Ages Swords had taken the place of many weapons to concur war. Middle Ages was full of violence, war and destruction due to conflicts over land rights related to farming that results in development of more sophisticated swords such as medieval swords, Pirate swords, latex Swords, Rapiers, Short Swords and cutlasses and Premium Swords.

In the beginning of Middle Ages swords were made of copper and bronze so the blade part was a little blunt and easily bookable due to brittle nature of bronze but later with the invention of steel it became more sharp and sleek with lots of strength. Growing war among nations give the boost to more technically advance swords, for rapiers narrow flexible blades and for knights curved blades were preferred.

Along with the improved version of blade part of swords handles were decorated with beautiful patterns and to provide better grip structure of handles were also improved. The shape of sword and its decoration not only meant to make it more appreciable but also to recognize its owner in battlefield.

To suppress the rising of Lower medieval society, rights were reserved with Knights and higher class people to own swords. There was no intension of rulers to control the use of arms but indirectly it was working as arms controlling law.
